RTCU Upgrade & Deployment Server V2.30
Released:  December 14, 2011.
 

This release of the RTCU Upgrade & Deployment Server V2.30 introduces the following improvements:

Enhancements:

  •  Support for the new CX1 series. 
  •  Support for using X32 VSX image project name/version instead of using manual settings.
  •  Intelligent bulk editing of unit profiles.
  •  New profile option to halt execution in unit.
  •  Sort feature in profile view.
  •  Unit information dialog now also shows model variant.
  •  Units in permanent 'Wait for reset' state are automatically refreshed to correct state.
  •   + other minor enhancements.

Released:  September 27, 2010.
 

This release of the RTCU Upgrade & Deployment Server V2.20 introduces the following improvements:

Enhancements:

  •  Windows 7 compatibility (32/64 bit).
  •  Renamed from GPRS Upgrade & Deployment Server to RTCU Upgrade & Deployment Server.
  •  Support for the RTCU AX9 Series.
  •  Information on number of units added.
  •  Menu structure and logic simplified.
  •  + other minor enhancements.

Bug fixes:

  •  Control Panel did not always show current operational status of the service.
  •  + other minor Bug Fixes.

 

GPRS Upgrade & Deployment Server V2.16
Released:  February 15, 2010.
 

This release of the GPRS Upgrade & Deployment Server V2.16 introduces support for X32-mode compiled applications.

The improvements are:

Enhancements:

  •  Support for applications compiled in X32-compilation mode available in RTCU IDE 5.50 and X32-Firmware V2.00
  •  + other minor enhancements.

Bug fixes:

  •  Full un-installation did not remove log-files and directories.
  •  Import of units are sometimes imported with "garbage" data.
  •  + other minor Bug Fixes.

 

GPRS Upgrade & Deployment Server V2.10
Released:  August 31, 2009.
 


This release of the GPRS Upgrade & Deployment Server V2.10 represents a major leap forward in the history of this product.
Central parts of the UDS Engine have been rewritten with the clear goal of upgrading the product to be fully 64-bit compliant, but also to make the move to the next level in terms of performance and greatly enhanced stability.


The improvements are:

Enhancements:

  •  Core engine completely rewritten for higher performance and enhanced stability.
  •  Full support for 64-bits Microsoft Windows, such as the new Server 2008.
  •  Full Vista UAC compliant.
  •  Wise Installer used for easy and safe installation. 
  •  + other minor enhancements.

Bug fixes:

  •  Long file-names were not always shown correctly in the Monitor tool.
  •  Cases of corruption in application-name/version in Monitor tool.
  •  'Force upgrade' of unit could crash the Monitor tool.
  •  Initial loading of log file could crash the Monitor tool
  •  When no firmware was available the Control Panel would hang.
  •  Cases of 'Incompatible firmware' after successful upgrade of unit.
  •  Cases of incorrect 'Version mismatch' after successful upgrade of unit.
  •  Interrupted transfers could restart transfer for no reason.
  •  Unit status could be finished (green) even though the update has not yet started.
  •  Application name gives 'Version mismatch' due to case sensitivity.
  •  Version field of application profile allowed incorrect input.
  •  + other minor Bug Fixes.
